There are 3 types of camping in Australia such as Camping ground, camping in National Parks and reserves and free camping in Australia. You will save money and you will be able to travel further for longer. Some free camps may have a time limit while others may be close enough to free. Usually, free camps are always full once school holidays start, but the KEA Campers does not recommend free camping in Australia. It is always best not to camp under trees and low lying branches, as they have been known to fall. You can head straight to the Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane as spending some wonderful time by sitting amongst the Kangaroo’s and Wallabies feeding them by hand which is one of the most memorable things.
